PRF treatment (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a non-surgical, natural procedure. It uses your blood to stimulate hair growth, accelerate wound healing, and rejuvenate your skin.
PRF Treatment (Arthrex® System) is a professional aesthetic service performed by trained medical professionals using approved clinical protocols. This service is available following an in-clinic consultation to determine suitability.
Medical consultation required. Results vary by individual.
PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, is prepared from a small sample of your own blood and used in selected regenerative aesthetic treatments.
PRF injections may be considered for clients concerned about tired-looking under eyes, skin quality or certain types of hair thinning.
Unlike traditional dermal filler, PRF is blood-derived and works differently. Results are gradual, and the best treatment approach depends on your anatomy, goals and the area being treated.

Your provider evaluates the under-eye area, face or scalp to determine whether PRF is suitable.
A small sample of your blood is collected..
The blood is processed in a centrifuge to prepare the platelet-rich fibrin.
PRF is administered to the selected area according to your personalized treatment plan.
Thinking about PRF under eyes, PRF for hair loss or facial rejuvenation but not sure what the treatment actually involves?
That is normal.
The questions below cover the things clients commonly want to know before booking: how PRF works, whether it is the same as filler, what it may help with, treatment cost, downtime and how PRF compares with PRP.
Book a consultation with a SOLSKIN provider and get a personalized recommendation based on your concern rather than choosing a treatment from search results alone.
PRF stands for platelet-rich fibrin. A small amount of your blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to create a blood-derived preparation used for selected regenerative aesthetic treatments. PRF injections may be considered for the under-eye area, facial rejuvenation and certain hair-restoration concerns.
PRF under eyes may be suitable for some clients who want to improve the appearance or quality of the under-eye area. However, dark circles, hollowness and tired-looking eyes can have different causes, so your provider should first determine what is contributing to your concern.
No. PRF under-eye treatment and traditional dermal filler work differently. Dermal filler primarily adds or restores volume, while PRF is prepared from your own blood and is generally used as a regenerative treatment. Your anatomy and goals determine which option may be more appropriate.
PRF for hair loss may be considered for appropriate clients experiencing certain types of hair thinning. Because hair loss can have many causes, your provider should assess the pattern and history of thinning before recommending PRF hair treatment or a broader hair-restoration plan.
PRF and PRP both begin with your own blood, but they are prepared differently and create different platelet-derived products. PRF contains a fibrin component, while PRP produces platelet-rich plasma. Neither treatment is automatically better for everyone; the appropriate option depends on the concern and treatment protocol.
PRF cost depends on the area being treated and the treatment plan recommended. PRF under-eye cost, PRF injections cost and PRF hair restoration cost may therefore differ.
Ask your location about current promotions.
There is no single number that applies to every client. The recommended number of PRF treatments depends on your treatment area, baseline condition, goals and how you respond. Your provider may recommend a treatment series followed by reassessment.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising may occur after PRF injections. The under-eye area can appear temporarily swollen after treatment. Downtime varies from person to person, so discuss upcoming events or travel with your provider when scheduling.
Microneedling with PRF combines a microneedling treatment with platelet-rich fibrin according to the clinic protocol. It is generally used with a skin-rejuvenation objective and is different from directly injecting PRF into areas such as the under eyes or scalp.
PRF results are generally gradual rather than immediate. The timeline depends heavily on what is being treated. Under-eye and facial treatments should be evaluated differently from PRF hair restoration, where visible changes may take longer because hair grows in cycles.
